Myth: You’re either confident or you’re not

yosemite

Everyone has good days and bad days. Even the most confident people have rough days. Because bodies are constantly going through changes, our expectations must change with them.

Life is a marathon. We have to be flexible as we maneuver all the social land mines we have to deal with through all the phases of life. The body we’ve learned to love in our 20s is different from the body we have at 40 or 50. It’s gonna change and keep changing!

Common sense and wisdom will tell us that we need to focus on the invisible things more than the visible. When we give ourselves a break and support ourselves through the ups and downs, we become more resilient.

“I can appreciate all the layers of myself; my body, my spirit, mind and heart.”

Confidence can be learned and relearned as we grow.

Stay strong.
