I hear you. Maybe the foods you used to eat without even thinking make you feel awful now.

Digestion changes through life phases. Most of us can eat almost anything when we’re younger, then things change around midlife.

You are not alone!

If you’re really active, exercising more than 4 days a week, you’ll need to fuel all that activity. Even if your not that active, it can be confusing. Your nutrition and hydration needs are more critical. If you’re struggling with foods causing bloating or other troubles, searching for nutritious foods that work for you can be frustrating.

Listed below are foods and herbs to help you through the transition.

Here’s a list of foods that are super nutritious and nutrient dense.

Broccoli

Collard greens

Blueberries

Hemp seeds

Seaweed

Eating these a few times a week will help you stay strong.

Making infusions can help with menopause and for getting micronutrients into your diet. Infusions are stronger than tea. Try nettles and linden flowers.

Taking herbs or adding herbs when you’re cooking can help calm digestion so you can feel better after you eat.

Ginger or candied ginger

Peppermint
